Update:
February 7th, 2025
I MOVED! We were able to raise enough money to secure my apartment for the month and I moved in a week ago! Yes, I moved while I was fighting the flu that knocked my body for almost 2 weeks (which I caught in the hospitalization between January 18th to the 20th)
I am slowly getting back to society and trying to find a part time job that my body can handle.
It's been very difficult finding a job that I can do despite me being open to anything that will work.
I am advocating for myself to receive disability however it's a very long process and will be many months before I see my first relief check come in.
Your help to help me pay for my medical needs, rent and basic necessities is so very much appreciated!
I got this far and I have lots more to accomplish!

Time Sensitive Updates:
January 20th, 2025
I am thank GOD back home from the hospital and ready to tackle the big move.
Your help is still much needed as I take this leap to a more stable future in the cheaper apartment I'll be able to afford, as I physically get stronger and start working.
January 18th, 2025
I was rushed to the hospital with an infection and fainting spells.
I had many plans to start my week ahead with finding a job so I can bring in an income until I get approved for disability.
I am currently admitted in the hospital.
Another twist in the road.
I did not come this far to only come this far!
I need $2,000 minimum by this Friday 1/24/25 so I can put down my first months rent and a security deposit and $600 to pay for moving expenses
Can I count on you?

Today, Friday January 17th, 2025, I walked out of rehab on my own two feet!
It's been 27 days of fighting yet another CIDP (a rare medical condition similar to Multiple Sclerosis) relapse. I spent 17 days in the hospital and 10 days in rehab fighting for my life and then ultimately my freedom to walk again.
CIDP is one of the many medical illnesses I battle and have been the reason why I spent over 100 days this past year admitted in the hospital.
There where a decent amount of medical professionals that tried to convince me to stop fighting for my freedom to walk because of the nature of my illnesses.
My body will always have it's ups and downs but I refuse to give up on the days I could walk and allow myself to wither away.
I want to get a job and contribute to society.
I am not a victim of my situation.
GOD has better plans for me!
As I continue to strengthen my body towards a brighter future, I turn to YOU! -the kind and awesome people of the world- for your help.
Rent, food and basics is all I need to keep up my end of the fight and I don't have that.
Family circumstances are complicated and I have faced so much darkness alone.
On top of all this I need to move in less then two weeks from the apartment I lived at for one and a half years due to reasons beyond my control which brings in more expenses then ever.
Having my own apartment has given me the ability to grow in so many ways and emotionally heal from my past.
It's far more then just an apartment.
It has been a lifeline and a key to so much success in my life that I was limited to prior to the freedom of my independence.
Your support means so much to me!
With tremendous appreciation, Raizel
