I'm a 22 year old chusson. B"H, I lived a regular happy life with 2 healthy parents and a bunch of siblings.

The reason I have to ask my friends for help is because of the current financial situation at home.

My father had a successful business a few years ago B"H, but somehow the wheel turned. It started to go downhill 2 years ago. While trying to do everything, to try and save the business, my father was not successful. He ended up with $3M in debt and over $60k past due on his mortgage, with fear that any day we will lose our home.

I can't describe how we felt at home, but my father's Emuna kept us holding on. I helped him a little with whatever I could. I found someone to help out for my brothers bar mitzvah and B"H it turned out beautiful.

B"H a few months ago, my father's business started gaining traction again and B"H things are getting a little better, but not enough yet to live on.

Left with no choice, it started to be a normal thing for me to be open with my friends about the situation, and they told me not to worry; that they will help me with whatever they could.

My goal is now to raise $100k, which $50k will go towards my wedding, which these days is a very simple wedding from what I understand. The other $50k, I want to give to my father to pay most of the back mortgage, so that he should be able to move on.

I want to wish anyone participating in this campaign, that they and their family and friends should never go through such financial problems and that they should have brucha, nachas and gezunt.
