Esty Aliza and Mayer Weisel have been building their life together in Queens, NY since their marriage in December 2023. Esty Aliza, originally from Mexico, had been entering the U.S. on a tourist visa. However, after recently attempting to return to New York from Mexico, she was unexpectedly denied entry at JFK Airport and deported back to Mexico. Now, Esty Aliza and Mayer are facing mounting legal fees as they navigate the complicated process of securing a green card for Esty Aliza. On top of this, they must relocate to a Jewish community outside of the U.S. during this process, adding additional financial strain.
