At 19 years old, Meir Nussenzweig has already lived through a turning point most people never face. A few years ago, a sudden brain tumor took his vision. What it didn’t take was his mind, his curiosity, or his ear for music.
Losing sight forced him to rebuild everything from scratch.
Music became the one place where he felt in control again.
He taught himself piano by touch, repetition, and instinct.
Now he’s ready for the next step.
His dream is to begin the real journey into music production and arranging—to learn the tools, techniques, and skills that can turn his ideas into full pieces. But for a blind musician, getting started isn’t simple. The right equipment, adaptive technology, and accessible instruction are expensive and hard to find.
This campaign is here to give him what he needs to actually grow:
1. A private room where he can live, learn, and practice safely
He currently doesn’t have the space or stability required for focused study, adaptive equipment, or independent practice time. A private room gives him dignity, privacy, and a stable environment to grow.
2. A complete, accessible music-production setup
This includes:
A computer powerful enough for professional music-arranging software. Adaptive hardware and accessibility tools for blind musicians Music-production software, sound libraries, and recording equipment. A qualified teacher who can train him both in using a computer as a blind user and in arranging, producing, and developing his musical ideas.
This isn’t about charity.
It’s about giving Meir a fair shot at becoming who he wants to be.
He’s not looking for pity—he’s looking for tools, opportunity, and a path forward. By supporting him, you’re helping him turn early talent into real skill, real independence, and a future shaped by passion rather than limitation.
He’s ready to put in the work.
Your support helps him take the leap.
