I’m 24, and I’ve been living with a stutter since I was 7.

I don’t remember exactly when it started, just that talking slowly became harder. Something that should’ve been simple turned into something frustrating and exhausting.

I tried speech therapy as a kid, but it didn’t last long and didn’t really help. As I got older, especially in my teenage years, it got worse. Even basic conversations could feel overwhelming. There were so many times I knew exactly what I wanted to say but just couldn’t get the words out.

A few years ago, I found a speech therapist who actually helped, and for a while things felt better. I had moments where speaking felt easier, and I started to feel more confident again. But over time, it came back, and I’m back to struggling in ways that affect my everyday life.

On top of this, I’ve also been dealing with other medical challenges, which has made everything even harder.

Recently I found a program called Dr. Fluency that focuses on retraining speech patterns and building real, lasting confidence. I truly believe this could change my life.

The only problem is the cost, it’s $12,000, which I can’t afford on my own.

That’s why I’m asking for help. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to me. This isn’t just about speaking, it’s about being able to live more freely, connect with people, and not feel held back every day.
