Everyone is going back to normal. I just want to give Chaim his normal life back.

The holidays are over.

I see people going back to work, children going back to school, families getting back into their routines.

And I look at Chaim and think about how badly I want us to have our routine back too.

I want to wake up in the morning and worry about whether he remembered his lunch for school.

I want to wait for him to come home from class.

I want to get annoyed because he didn’t clean his room.

Just normal things a mother worries about.

Instead, I’m sitting next to him again, thinking about treatments, tests, doctors, and how we are going to make it to the next step❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Baruch Hashem, we are moving forward.

Chaim is receiving treatment to keep his condition stable, and the doctors are doing everything they can.

But now we need to move forward with treatment in the United States, and we simply cannot do this on our own.

Beyond the treatment itself, there are enormous costs for medical care, flights, housing, and staying near the hospital for an extended period of time.

We have already used what we had.

We are doing everything we possibly can.

And now I have to ask for help again.

It isn’t easy for me.

But when I look at Chaim, my embarrassment means nothing.

I also want to stop for a moment and say thank you❤️

Thank you to everyone who has already donated.

To everyone who shared.

To everyone who davened for Chaim, sent us a kind message, or simply had him in mind.

None of this is something I take for granted.

Sometimes I look at the names of the people who donated and I honestly can’t understand how people who have never met us can open their hearts so much for my child.

It moves me. It strengthens me.

And it gives us the strength to keep going.

So I’m asking you:🙏🙏

If you are able to help us now, please don’t wait.

Every donation brings us another step closer.

Every share can reach someone who may be able to help us take the next step.

During the Yamim Tovim, we all davened for life, health, and a refuah.

Now I am asking for just one thing:

Please help me give Chaim the chance to simply be a child again.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

(חיים בן יעל) Chaim ben Yael — for a refuah shleimah.
