Chedva and Racheli, have discovered the magic of camp. Like all girls, the time spent with friends, full of fun and action, creates memories they’ll never forget. But Chedva and Racheli are no ordinary girls, they are two beautiful souls with Down’s Syndrome.

During the winter months, the girls spend their time in and out of the hospital, (Chedva as often as every 6-8 weeks) caring for their multiple medical needs and complications. Summer camp serves as their oasis, providing them with round the clock loving care, while they have the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine, frolic in the pool, and bond with friends who may share in their struggles. It also gives the Ungers a much needed break, allowing them to welcome the girls back refreshed, and ready to care for them again. Chedva and Racheli need YOU to make their summer dream happen. They do not receive subsidizations from the government since they are in family care (no respite or commhab) . Camp requires a staggering $21K per child.
