A mikvah, once beautiful, now covered in mold and decay.

Towns full of families who yearn to embrace taharas hamishpacha - but no mikvah.

A government warning they will start to destroy all mikvaos which aren’t up to par.

The demand has never been higher for taharah in Eretz Yisroel. The need has never been greater.

Rav Don Segal shlita breaks down in tears as he describes the situation.

Taharah - the fundamental foundation of Klal Yisroel - is in grave danger.

What should be the most cherished mitzvah, with the utmost care taken to protect it by everyone in Klal Yisroel, has been neglected outside of major communities in Eretz Yisroel. Mikvaos in smaller towns, yishuvim and moshavim have been forgotten. Towns full of women who want to connect with their roots and do their part in Taharah Shel Yisroel have been overlooked.

When the taharah of our nation is at risk, all of us are affected.

Merkaz Hataharah was founded by the Gedolei Hador to urgently fix this devastating reality.

Ran Don Segal has declared a state of emergency. “This is my highest priority right now, even more than my kollelim!”

Merkaz Hataharah has already saved many mikvaos, rescuing them from a shocking state of mold, rotting walls, broken plumbing, freezing rooms with peeling paint.

Merkaz Hataharah is also building beautiful new mikvaos in the many towns, moshavim, and yishuvim which have no mikvah anywhere nearby.

Every mikvah project is personally overseen and directed by the Gedolei Hador.

In cities, towns and settlements where Merkaz Hataharah has built a new mikvah, new mikvah usage has surged up to 200%, and the return rate every month is almost 100%!

The expenses are as great as the need. The average mikvah project costs $344,118.

HaRav Don Segal shlita has poured his time, his energy and his nefesh into Merkaz Hataharah, often at great personal cost. When asked why he was devoting so much of himself to this matter, the Mashgiach passionately exclaimed, “This is taharah, and taharah is Klal Yisroel! This is the foundation of Yiddishkeit, and one of the things most beloved to Hashem. The zechus is so great that even if a woman who isn’t observing any other mitzvos uses a mikva you helped build, and has a child who was born in taharah, when that child becomes frum, the zechus of every mitzvah he does, every blatt gemarah he learns, all the learning for every generation afterwards, that is all in your zechus!”

He chokes up with emotion and fervently begs, “Become a partner with me on this holy mission! Help me save the taharah of Klal Yisroel!”
