Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the AB Charity mobile application (“App”), operated by AB Charity (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

The App allows campaign organizers and authorized users to access and manage fundraising campaigns, view activity, and accept donations through integrated payment services.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Accounts & Authentication

To access certain features of the App, you may be required to sign in using your email address and password.

  • Your login credentials are stored securely on our servers.

  • We do not share your login information with third parties.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Location Access

The App may request access to your device’s location.

Location access is required by our payment processing provider (Stripe) for fraud prevention, device verification, and security purposes related to processing in-person or device-based payments.

  • We do not store, track, or use your precise location for advertising or marketing purposes.

  • We do not sell or share your location data.

  • Location data, if accessed by Stripe, is handled according to Stripe’s Privacy Policy and security practices.

You may deny location access, but certain payment features may not function properly without it.

4. Payment Processing

Payments made through the App are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). AB Charity does not store your full payment card details.

By using payment features, you agree to comply with Stripe’s terms and policies, in addition to these Terms.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

This includes:

  • Email address and account information

  • Authentication data

  • App usage and technical data

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity

  • Attempt to interfere with the App’s security or operation

  • Access accounts or data that do not belong to you

  • Use the App in any way that violates payment processor rules

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse or abuse of the platform.

7. Availability & Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App or any specific feature.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AB Charity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which AB Charity is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Location
