It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating loss of Yehuda (Yuda) Taibe, a beloved 37-year-old husband, father, friend, and cherished member of the community whose life tragically ended today, July 21, 2025 (כה תמוז).

Yehuda was one of those rare souls whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Whether you were a close friend, a student, or someone he had just met, Yehuda made you feel seen, valued, and cared for. His sense of humor, generous heart, and authenticity brought light into every room.

Yehuda is survived by his loving wife, Racheli, currently eight months pregnant, and his four beautiful children: Aviva (18), Yisroel (12), Tehila (3), and Nissim Yitzhak (1).

In the final weeks of his life, Yehuda was already facing serious challenges. He had recently purchased a new home in Flatbush for his growing family, but was laid off from work and underwent major surgery to repair a broken ankle. The surgery left him immobile and in significant pain, making day-to-day life incredibly difficult.

Now, Racheli is navigating the unimaginable: mourning her husband while caring for their children, managing a household, and preparing to bring a new baby into the world, all on her own.

This fund has been created to help ease the immediate financial burden on Racheli and her children. Donations will go toward essential living expenses, mortgage payments, childcare, bills, and any other needs that may arise in the coming months.
