Beyond the Wrapper delivers $130 with a candy platter to needy families throughout Eretz Yisroel. Families have told us this is the sweetest way they have ever received charity. Beyond the Wrapper’s goal is to bring a little joy into the darkness of poverty. The joy on a mother’s face when she receives money with a candy platter tells a story. A story of a mother who wants to give her family basic necessities. Now she can give them necessities with candy! You can give her that ability. Your support enables us to give these families moments of happiness. Moments that restore strength and help them carry on through difficult times. Beyond the Wrapper also distributes chocolate bars when families come to pick up challah for Shabbos. This Purim Beyond the Wrapper will also distribute soda bottles. The children love receiving this and reuse the bottles. It gives them a sense of ownership and a sweet feel to Purim. All candy platters are made in Israel and are distributed through Gabbai tzedakah approved by Rabbi Dovid Cohen and Rabbi Chaim Goldberg zt”l across EY.
