Hi! My name is Shoshana Kogan, and I’m eighteen year old.

Despite being in a wheelchair, my dream is to go to seminary just like any other girl right after high school. Even though I'm in a wheelchair, it doesn’t define who I am. For me, seminary isn’t only a year full of learning, it’s an opportunity to be the person I can become.

In seminary, I can be surrounded by people who are striving to grow, build a stronger relationship with Hashem, and strengthen my Emunah. Being a part of something so life changing, is something I can’t wait to experience for myself!

Seminary will give me the opportunity to gain independence, and to come out of the year feeling accomplished and inspired. I see from others who go to seminary how life changing this year is.

The friendships that are made and the chance to explore eretz yisroel is priceless.

Going to seminary isn’t only a dream, but it’s a step towards my personal and spiritual journey, and future.

Being a girl in a wheelchair isn't the easiest thing but I’m determined to show myself and others that I’m not limited by my physical challenges, and that I can do anything I put my mind to!
