I am writing to you on behalf of my brother Rav Yosef Sklar, who is

about to marry off second daughter.

Being an Avreich with thirteen children for whom balancing the bank

account each month is a mission of its

own, the task at hand is an impossibility without the generous

assistance of kindhearted individuals such as

yourself.

The Sklars are one of the founding families of the Achisamach

neighborhood in Eretz Yisrael, where they

are admired as models of joyous, Torah-centered living with unswerving

trust in Hashem. Besides learning

and teaching Torah, R’ Yosef spends much of his time contributing to

the community in various ways,

including strengthening the Yiddishkeit in the less religious nearby

neighborhoods. He and his wife do their

utmost to support the family and live extremely modestly, but the many

wedding and dowry-related costs lie

well beyond their tight budget. The Rav of the neighborhood, R’
