For 15 years, JCCSG has been a lifeline for individuals and families facing the daily challenges of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
What began on May 17, 2011, with one educational event and one mission — to ensure that no patient suffers alone — has grown into a trusted source of advocacy, referrals, education, emotional support, and hope for thousands across the Jewish community and beyond.
Over the past 15 years, JCCSG has:
• Answered over 50,000 calls from patients and families in crisis
• Facilitated more than 25,000 expedited appointments and easier access to top medical care
• Hosted 20 educational events and symposiums
• Advocated for patients navigating complex medical and insurance systems
• Helped guide approximately 500 Shidduchim impacted by chronic illness
• Provided support during hospitalizations, surgeries, flare-ups, and life-changing diagnoses
But beyond the numbers are the people.
The teenager embarrassed to speak about symptoms.
The parent desperately searching for answers.
The young adult afraid their illness will affect dating, marriage, or their future.
The patient who simply needed someone to understand.
For many, JCCSG became the place they finally felt heard.
Now, 15 years later, the need is greater than ever.
As awareness grows and more families turn to JCCSG for support, we are expanding our services to continue being there for every patient who needs us — emotionally, medically, socially, and practically.
This campaign is not only about celebrating the past 15 years.
It is about building the next 15.
Together, we can continue providing hope, guidance, advocacy, and CARE to those living with invisible illness.
Help us continue the CARE.
